21st Century Educator Course (Instructional Design)
A 21st-century educator is expected to design his/her instructions (lessons) or teaching content and deliver it to learners online. Participants can appraise and apply The three keywords (or learning paradigms) that addressed the process of modern teaching and learning namely:
- Learning Theory: Learning about how people learn.
- Instructional (Design) Theory: learning about how people teach
- Instructional Design Model: A guide on how people should create an instructional intervention.
At the end of the course participants will design and publish online courses inline with instructional design best practice.
Perquisites: Digital technology 1x, 2x and 3x or equivalent skills.
